| when the ucsd a.s. election debate took place in price center, i just
happened to be there eating lunch. it was my first time listening to
such in my 3 years at ucsd. i tried phasing it out by doing flashcards
given how little time i have left. but nooooooo, the candidates had to
be way too funny.
daniel watts: half the time, this guy was slandering the other
candidate. and half the time, they were unfounded -- at least that's
what it sounded like to me. initially, this guy came off as pretty
impressive given that he ran for california governor but really, how
does that apply to what he's gonna do now? he seemed to rely solely on
the fact that he ran and that when he ran, the other candidate was in
high school.
harry: he was pretty could. public speaking could use a little help but
that's not so important. it definately seemed like he knew what he was
talking about. initially, he looked down upon daniel's slandering him
and said that that's low ... but eventually that's what he ended up
doing too. but there were flaws in his rebuttals and some of his
arguments -- some of which i simply don't remember but mainly i don't
have the time...but my point is that..
THESE ARE SILLY CANDIDATES. I'm disappointed in the fact that UCSD
doesn't have smarter, more legit candidates. I'm sure there are others
more legit who are too busy to run. oh well. I'll go with harry. harry
potter books were pretty good anyway.
p.s. yes, i do not personally know any of these guys and anyone affiliated with them... not to my kn at least.
